Our Pastor
Reverend Jason Crenshaw grew up in Valley, Alabama. After high school, he served four years in the U.S. Air Force in the Air Transportation career field. He became a Christian while stationed at Anderson Air Base, Guam. Jason also met his wife Taffi, a native of Guam, and was called to gospel ministry while there. After completing military service, he enrolled at Liberty University receiving a Bachelor of Science in Religion (2010). Jason then attended Covenant Theological Seminary and graduated with a Master of Divinity (2013).
Reverend Crenshaw has served at the Trinity Presbyterian Church and Trinity Christian School, Opelika, Alabama where he and his family have lived for the last several years. Jason and Taffi have six children (Jivahn, Jaala, Jalaa, Jalea, Javea, and Jisayah). He enjoys studying the Scriptures and theology, dating his wife, playing basketball, spending time with his kids and all things coffee!
Pastor Crenshaw extends to you a warm welcome and a standing invitation to visit our church and learn more about following Jesus.
Welcome from the Pastor
Dear Friend,
Thank you for taking time to explore our website. On behalf of the Ballston Center congregation, I want to extend a warm welcome to you. Our desire is to live out the daily implications of the gospel of God; to understand our position and participation in the great story of God’s redeeming grace. We believe that being united to Christ is not only about forgiveness but restoration and renewal in a broken world. This means living the Christian life together in genuine community and caring discipleship as we cultivate faith, hope and love. It also means gathering regularly to worship our Covenant Lord who has lavished us richly with his grace and mercy in Christ Jesus. At Ballston Center, you will find the weary seeking rest in Christ, saints looking to Him to be strengthened and a community of believers building one another up in truth and love.
We will be delighted to have you join us. If you have further questions, I would love to hear from you. We begin worship Sunday at 10:30 am but feel free to join us for Sunday School at 9:15. May the Lord direct your path and if he leads you our way, we pray that you will be blessed and encouraged.
In the Lamb who is also the Lion,
Pastor Jason
