Missions and Outreach:

Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. Galatians 6:2

Local and National Missions

In response to God’s command, our church dedicates its energies and finances to the needs of communities close to home and around the world. We offer help to our neighbors through a food pantry, clothing giveaway, support for and service at Schenectady City Mission, Intervarsity, Northern Frontier, Camp Cedarbrook, Fresh Water Friends and many others.

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

Matt 28:19

Ballston Center has a long history of involvement in world missions. Not only do we financially support missionaries in other parts of the world, we have trained and sent out missionaries from our own congregation. We are committed to meeting the needs of missionaries through prayer, encouragement and finances. Through, World Witness, our denominations missionary outreach and other direct provision, we support missionaries in Mexico, London, Czech Republic, South Africa, Columbia, Canada and Spain. We dedicate our time for missions work with short term mission’s trips to places like Wales, Spain, Dominican Republic Medical Missions and Mexico. Every Christmas season we collect and ship shoe boxes filled with donated toys and health care items to the Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child.

The goal at Ballston Center is to witness to God’s love and proclaim the good news of the Gospel here at home and around the world.
